Posted 04/04/2008 - 1:51pm by Chains anubis....where do you get your comics online? if you dont want to post it here then email me thanks
Posted 04/03/2008 - 12:32pm by Anubis I don't know if any of you guys have been reading Marvel titles lately but Bendis just pulled a "WTF!!!" in Secret Invasion #01. Start picking up back issues of the last 5 or 6 years of Marvel comics mostly Avengers or character closely associated with them. I think Marvel is gonna Pwn DC with story telling this year.
Posted 03/08/2007 - 11:16am by Poohminator Yeah. I read that yesterday. It's was an interesting time to do it. (our world time that is).
Posted 03/08/2007 - 9:35am by Anubis I don't know if anybody knows yet but Marvel killed off Captain America. Most likely its not perminate and part of some big story but it happened.
Posted 03/08/2007 - 2:40am by Chains Second one came out today
Posted 02/27/2007 - 7:33pm by KnocK I'm all for it, I wouldn't mind a series of movies like the Harry Potter movies. And if they are poorly done, I can just block em out and keep with the books. That I know are awesome :)
Posted 02/27/2007 - 5:30pm by Poohminator Which some are you. For me it depends on the format. An HBO series? I'm all for it. A movie? No way.
Posted 02/27/2007 - 5:15pm by KnocK Some have wanted it, some have dreaded it, but it looks like it will happen. J.J. Abrams (Lost) will bring life to the Dark Tower series either big or small screen.
Posted 02/11/2007 - 2:44pm by Poohminator I can wait till May. I need to get on board with the Wheel of TIme, cause Edge has been wanting to discuss that with me. I've made it to, like the 6th or 7th book on that series, while Edge is up to date. I've exchanged It for Eye of the World, Edge. So why don't you reread that, so we can discuss it from the beginning? It'd be a good refresher.
Posted 02/10/2007 - 8:58pm by KnocK Pooh, Saint, Nilrem and I are going to read the Dark Tower starting in May and hopefully read them all. If you want to wait, maybe you can get in on that with us. Then we can discuss. It will be a reread for me as well, but I love the series so much I have been wanting to, and what better reason. Saint and I have been read Alhazred and it is neat to read a book at the same time just to have someone to discuss it with.
Posted 02/10/2007 - 8:13pm by Poohminator I liked it a lot myself. I love how these guys visualized the characters. It's about the same as I did. While anticipating it's release, I did a search for some Sergio Leone, and my DVR picked up 4 titles!!!! I'm looking forward to watching them, and I'm going to reread the Dark Tower once I get those watched. Woohoo!!!!
Posted 02/10/2007 - 5:48pm by KnocK Nilrem and I went to the Midnight release, I was the first to get my two copies :) also picked up a subscription. Looks great so far. Let me know what you guys think.
Posted 02/08/2007 - 11:33pm by Poohminator Finally found a place here that had one. Unfortunately my copy had a bad streak on one of the pages. Oh well. I don't plan on selling it anyway.
Posted 02/08/2007 - 11:09pm by Chains got it :)
Posted 02/07/2007 - 9:39am by Poohminator If you didn't get your book at midnight, don't forget to get it today!!!
Posted 01/28/2007 - 4:35pm by KnocK Damn man thanks...I actually had forgotten about this. I went to find it LAST year when it was supposed to be released and they told me 2007, I just forgot all about.
Posted 01/28/2007 - 4:15pm by Poohminator Don't forget that a prequal comic of the Dark Tower is coming out 02/07/07. The Springfieldites get to enjoy a midnight release at Dragon's Lair if they so choose. |
